Power BI Developer

Location Poland-wide (100% remote)

Responsibilities

Creating, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards
Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations
Performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
Creating and managing data models
Writing complex DAX queries to create calculated columns, measures, and custom tables
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data in reports and dashboards
Implementing and managing row-level security (RLS)
Performing, tuning, and optimizing Power BI solutions
Creating and maintaining documentation for data models, reports, and processes

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Power BI developer or in a similar position
Proficient knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service – data flows, paginated reports
Understanding of the concepts related to administration, security, and platform management
Experience in data modeling and database design concepts
Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases
Experience working with database systems such as MS SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or Azure SQL, as well as practical knowledge of tools and technologies such as Power BI, DAX, SSIS, SSRS, ADF, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, will be essential.
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to create Clear and concise documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team
