AI Developer/ML Engineer

Location Warsaw/Remote
Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing machine learning solutions
  • Evaluating new technologies, libraries, approaches and proposing innovative solutions
  • Code optimization and ensuring processing efficiency
  • Tool testing, yield/benefit evaluation
  • Maintaining good programming practices (code review, CICD)
  • Writing high-quality code (production-ready), in accordance with good SOLID practices
Requirements:

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Data Science field
    Experience in implementation of commercial analytical projects (forecasting, classification, segmentation and recommendation models, optimization)
  • Very good knowledge of Python, e.g. designing and building your own library
  • Knowledge of tools for processing large data sets (Apache Spark)
  • Preferred sectors: retail, telecommunications, banking and insurance, on-line - wherever there is a lot of data
  • Experience in implementation of:
      • Forecasting models (e.g. for sales or contract schedules )
      • Classification models (e.g. probability of purchase, risk of non-repayment)

     

    Nice to have:

    • Experience in consulting projects
    • Experience in using cloud solutions, e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP
    • Knowledge of SAS: 9, Viya, 4GL, CAS, statistical procedures & machine learning

     

    Technology Stack:

    • Open-source: Python (or R), notebook experience (Jupyter, Zeppelin), Spark (PySpark),
    • Libraries: Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, Scipy, Xgboost (Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow are welcome)
